Welcome to Nura Madjzoub!

Posted 7/28/2016
Nura is a internationally experienced massage and bodyworker, offering holistic integrative massage for stress, anxiety, physical discomfort and relaxation.

Nura has been practicing integrative massage and bodywork for over 10 years and has been teaching yoga for 15. Her eye has been trained, over the past decade and a half, to see the movement and the freedom, as well as the tension and the blocks, in bodies.  Whether on the massage table, or in a yoga class, Nura’s first priority is to observe – to “listen” with ears, eyes and hands to who is in front of her, and to work with each individual to create an experience that is effective, transformative and uplifting.

Nura completed her original massage training at The Fingerlakes School of Massage in Ithaca, New York.  As one of the most well-known and respected schools for Massage Therapy in the USA, her original 1000 hours of training included technique work in Swedish, Connective Tissue Therapy, Shiatsu, Prenatal, Sports massage, NMT, (trigger point therapy), Kinesthetic awareness through Movement (KAM), energy palpation, reflexology, hydrotherapy, aromatherapy, as well as classes in anatomy and physiology, pathology and kinesiology, ethics, and more. In 2008 she spent a month in Thailand studying Thai massage at its source.

After graduating, she sat her New York State licensing exam in 2006, and has maintained her licensing throughout the years.  She is also Board Certified in Massage Therapy in the United States.  She continues to update and renew her technique and knowledge base by taking continuing education classes and courses yearly.

She has spent the last 9 years working in her private massage practice in Lugano, Switzerland, and previously worked privately and in a yoga and wellness studio in Brooklyn, New York.
